On the 8th of July, a wonderful team of volunteers came out on the Flying Angel to distribute care packages they had collected and put together at their head office in Dubai. Lydia Fowler, Senior Conference Manager, was one of the team.

'IIR Middle East selected the Angel Appeal as our ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2011. It was great to have the opportunity to go out on the Flying Angel and see first-hand the fantastic work that the crew carry out each day.  We were delighted to be able to hand out the donations ourselves, and spend time with the crews to understand the impact that the Flying Angel has on their lives. It was such a valuable experience that we hope to repeat as we continue our support for the Angel Appeal'.
